Tobogan / Week 28, 2025

Let’s start with the classic: Monday. So... the whole week was all about getting ready for the ISO certification. What had been in the works for a while finally happened on Wednesday and Thursday – the audit took place and we passed! 🎉 We’ve also got some ideas on how to make things even better in the future. And that’s always a good sign. After all that work came well-deserved rest – Jirka spent Friday evening bowling and dining with his family, and the weather drove them back home for the weekend. But board games made up for it big time. As he put it himself: “nothing special,” but honestly? Sounds pretty nice to us! Jana faced a completely different kind of challenge – baking a cake while the grandkids insist on tasting every cream, and the pudding pot ends up being a treat just for grandpa. That takes some serious peace of mind in the kitchen. 😄 The celebration was held outside in the garden, where a rare guest appeared – the musk beetle, the largest species of longhorn beetle in the Czech Republic. A beauty! Biologists would have cried tears of joy. PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO Paja continued making home improvements. This week, the floor trim finally went in! And as if that wasn’t enough, she also finished a new home office/guest room. In the evenings, she managed a bit of DIY tattooing and even a trip to the swimming pool – though no photo evidence. But we believe her, haha. 🏊🏼‍♀️ PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO Míša had a social weekend – a friend’s birthday with a grilled pork leg. Short, meaty, and satisfying. 🥩 PHOTO From Haness’s creative corner came a summer highlight – a photo selection from their trip through Italy and Tuscany. They enjoyed it 220%, nothing was missing: sun, heat, sea, lakes, mountains, pizza, pasta, great food, bikes, paddleboards, via ferratas… Pure summer bliss. 🇮🇹☀️🍕 PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO The week was full of work, the weekend full of sport – biking on Friday and Sunday added up to a solid 132.4 km 🚴‍♀️. Saturday’s bad weather meant at least a game of badminton indoors. On top of that, they made some homemade spreads and finally – hooray! – mounted the bikes on the wall. That view was worth the effort. 💪🚲 PHOTO PHOTO PHOTO
