The motor behind all PROEBIZ activities, the owner of the PROEBIZ trademark and the TENDERBOX software is PROEBIZ, which was created in 1996 by the transformation of N.A.R., Milan Kaplan’s previous company, which had been operating from the beginning of 1990. We first came across eAuctions in 2000 and gradually we’ve shifted away from other marketing activities and expanded into the digitalisation of all processes in both corporate and public procurement.
The headquarters of PROEBIZ are in Ostrava. We also have offices or other forms of representation in Prague, Bratislava and Rybnik.
Furthermore, we initiated the formation of the Czech and Slovak Associations for Providers and Users of Digital Procurement Solutions (APUeN CZ and APUeN SK).
For more than fifteen years we have been producing a weekly blog called TOBOGAN, which is a summary of that week’s events.
PROEBIZ has a 100% owned subsidiary called Sentinet which serves primarily as an environment for testing and verifying new products.
Milan Kaplan is a marketing specialist, member of the steering committee of the Czech Marketing Association, consultant and co-author of books on eProcurement in both the public and private sectors. He specialises in the marketing of supplier relationships and their digitisation. He was one of the creators of PROEBIZ eAuction software, and presents his professional experience at expert conferences such as eBF and the eProcurement forums. He is the chief executive of PROEBIZ and the president of APUeN (The Association of Providers and Users of eAuctions and other Digital Procurement Solutions) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
